Taipei, Seven uniform invoices that each won the special prize of NT$10 million (US$344,828) in the May-June draw remain unclaimed, while another five that have won the grand NT$2 million prize each also remain unclaimed, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) said Tuesday.
The MOF urged the winners to claim the money ahead of the deadline of Nov. 5. The ministry added that the draw for uniform invoices issued during the July-August period is scheduled to be held Friday.
The seven unclaimed NT$10 million uniform invoices were among 16 winners who won the prize with a winning number of 03016191, while the five unclaimed NT$2 million prizes were among 19 winners with the winning number of 62474899, according to the MOF.
Among the seven special prize winners, four spent less than NT$100 to win their NT$10 million, according to the MOF.
The four are one who bought a bottled tea drink for NT$20 in a FamilyMart store in Banqiao, one who bought a milk tea drink and a hot dog for NT$60 in a 7-Eleven store in Taoyuan, another who spent NT$88 to buy dumplings in Beitou, while the other spent NT$90 on a lemon drink at a COCO beverage store in Hsinchu, the MOF said.
The MOF said the other three special prize winners are one who spent NT$158 for detergent at a Showba grocery store in Kaohsiung, another who had a car wash at a Smile gas station in Changhua for NT$190, while the other paid a NT$2,017 phone bill for Far Eastone Telecommunications Ltd.
Among the five unclaimed NT$2 million grand prizes, one winner spent just NT$2 to get a photocopy made at a supermarket in Taoyuan, the MOF said.
The other four are one who spent NT$80 to buy a drink at a DaYung’s beverage outlet in Beitou, one who bought milk tea for NT$90 at a C-Tea beverage store in Kaohsiung, another who purchased tobacco for NT$100 at a FamilyMart in Fuhsin Township in Changhua, while the other spent NT$354 for beer and a snack at a 7-Eleven store in Taipei’s Shihlin District.
