ASML, a Dutch multinational corporation which specializes in the development and manufacture of photolithography machines used to produce computer chips, announced on Thursday the launch of a recruitment plan in Taiwan while touting monetary incentives awarded to employees for their performances in 2022.
In addition to hosting a series of activities, seminars as well as scholarship and internship programs, ASML has also created an interactive website to help applicants better understand its innovative technologies and entrepreneurial culture, as part of its efforts to hire and foster talent in Taiwan, the company said in a statement.
ASML said it will host six employment fairs, nine job explanation sessions and two seminars on industry trends at various universities so job seekers and company executives from different departments can talk face to face and explore the potential for cooperation.
Poling Liu (???), ASML human resources director for Taiwan and Southeast Asia, said the company has in recent years strategically improved its benefits and provided all-rounded training programs and overseas job opportunities for employees, in the hope of standing out to professionals in the local employment market.
Each ASML employee received an annual monetary incentive worth over 6 months of salary based on their performances in 2022, Liu said.
In addition, employees also received other types of benefits, including increasing maternity leave from eight weeks to 14 weeks and paternity leave from 7 days to 10 days.
ASML workers are also entitled to two days working from home per week to help them strike a balance between home and work, she added.
