A delegation comprised of presidents of five Taiwanese universities will host seminars in Kuala Lumpur starting on Nov. 4 in a bid to attract elite Malaysian students to study in Taiwan.
The five universities are National Taiwan University, National Taiwan Normal University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology and National Formosa University.
They will hold seminars at Tsun Jin High School, Hin Hua High School and Chong Hwa Independent High School, respectively, in what is being billed as the largest student recruitment campaign in years.
National Taiwan University will be looking to draw students to its new "international undergraduate program," which will offer high school graduates from Southeast Asia the chance to study in the university's all-English learning environment.
The five universities are expected to offer openings to a total of 356 students.
