Japan to support Iran in nuclear deal implementation

Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida says that Japan will give Iran 2.2 million USD to bolster nuclear safety and help Iran honor its historic nuclear deal with the West.

At a press conference in Tokyo on Wednesday after a talk with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, Kishida said the two sides agreed their relations are improving in many areas including the implementation of the nuclear deal. Zarif hailed Japan's constructive contributions to Iran's implementation of the nuclear agreement.
