The equity market in Taiwan will open for trade on Sept. 10, the second Saturday in the month, to make up for a lost trading day during the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, the Taiwan Stock Exchange said Thursday.
During the Sept. 15-18 Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the equity market will be closed for two extra days in the week, Sept. 15 and 16, the TWSE noted.
The session on Sept. 10 will be a make-up day for the Sept. 16 closure of the market, the TWSE said.
The TWSE, which operates the local main board, said that in addition to trading, stock deliveries will also be carried out on Sept. 10.
