Budget airline Tigerair Taiwan announced Monday it will recruit an estimated 200 cabin crew and ground staff in the near future, while China Airlines (CAL) said the same day that it plans to hire 100 employees, amid upbeat forecasts about the recovery of the travel and tourism industry from the effects of COVID-19.

Applications for cabin crew positions will open Dec. 10 and close Dec. 25, while applications for ground staff jobs will open Jan. 9, 2023 and close Feb. 10, 2023, Tigerair said in a statement.
