Taipei, Wet and colder weather compared to earlier this week can be expected in Taiwan on Saturday due to a continental cold air mass, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said.
Daytime highs on Saturday are forecast at 15-17 degrees Celsius in northern Taiwan and 18-23 degrees in the central and southern parts of the island, with rain gradually easing in the afternoon, the bureau said.
Between late Saturday and early Sunday, temperatures can drop to 13-14 degrees in northern and northeastern Taiwan, 15-18 degrees in the east and south, according to the CWB.
Temperatures will begin to warm up during the daytime on Sunday as the cold air mass weakens, giving way to clear and stable weather in the coming week, the bureau added.
