Three Korean shows made it into Netflix's top 10 Non-English content chart in the first half of the year, the global streaming service said Friday. According to its Engagement Report from January to June, the Korean TV shows "Queen of Tears," "Parasyte: The Grey" and "My Demon" garnered 29 million, 25 million, and 18 million views, respectively. Of the three, "Parasyte: The Grey" is the only Netflix Korean original, while the other two are licensed titles. In the overall TV series rankings, which include both English and non-English titles, the romantic drama "Queen of Tears" ranked 14th, making it the highest-ranking Korean content. "Badland Hunters," an action film featuring Don Lee (also known as Ma Dong-seok), emerged as the most popular Korean movie on Netflix. It secured the 17th position on the platform's overall most-watched films list. However, no Korean titles broke into the overall top 10 most-watched list, continuing a trend from the latter half of last year.
