Bangkok, Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) announced new fare rates for the Blue Line (Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line) effective from July 3, 2024 to July 2, 2026, in accordance with the concession agreement that requires fare rates to be adjusted every 24 months or every 2 years based on actual changes in the Consumer Price Index. The full fare starts at 17 baht and goes up to 45 baht (originally 17 baht and went up to 43 baht), which will increase by 1 baht at the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th, and 11th stations from the original station, and increase by 2 baht at the 8th, 10th, and 12th stations onwards. There will still be a special discount for children and senior citizens of 50% and for students of 10% of the general fare.
