Bookings for 1,030 flights connecting Taiwan and its outlying islands between Sept. 8 and 12 during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday weekend will start at 9 a.m. on Monday, the Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) said Friday.
The CAA said that to satisfy customer demand around and during the Sept. 9 to 11 holiday, 96,172 seats would be made available on flights between Taiwan and Penghu, Kinmen, and Lienchiang counties.
There will be 53,288 seats on 552 flights on the Taiwan-Penghu route, while Taiwan-Kinmen and Taiwan-Lienchiang routes will offer 33,384 seats on 338 flights and 9,500 seats on 140 flights, respectively, according to the CAA.
Extra flights will be available depending on market needs, the CAA added.
