'Nakhon Chai Burin' developed 496 million baht worth of infrastructure, including appointing 'Wisit Wisitsora-at' as the new chairman of the SEC, replacing the old one whose term has expired. Mr. Chai Wachirong, spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the Cabinet meeting resolved to acknowledge the integrated plan of the public and private sectors to develop the lower Isan provinces (Nakhon Chai Burin provinces) as proposed by the Budget Bureau (B.B.B.) from the proposal of 24 projects by government agencies and the private sector to develop transportation routes, traffic, water supply systems, and important tourist attractions, totaling 496 million baht, to be completed within 1 year. The official cabinet meeting outside Nakhon Ratchasima Province approved the proposal of the Ministry of Finance to appoint Mr. Wisit Wisitsora-at, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Digital Economy a nd Society (DE), to be the new Chairman of the SEC instead of Mr. Pichit Akrathit, Chairman of the SEC, whose term of office has expired in 4 years.
