Chiang Mai residents must prepare for another round of flooding in the city after only 3 days of cleaning up. Heavy rain on the mountains caused flash floods to overflow into many areas in the north, especially Mae Taeng District. Water overflowed into the Elephant Conservation and Environment Center, forcing more than 3,000 animals to be evacuated. All of the water will flow into the Ping River through Chiang Mai City, and is expected to reach a height of almost 5 meters, higher than the previous flood. Source: Thai News Agency
