Dentium on Thursday reported its second-quarter net income of 20.5 billion won (US$14.9 million), up 1.5 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating income for the April-June period fell 14.5 percent on-year to 27.7 billion won. Sales increased 5 percent to 111.7 billion won. The operating profit was 18.9 percent lower than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
