Five of the NT$10 million (US$318,497) special prizes in Taiwan’s receipt lottery for May-June have not yet been claimed, while one grand prize of NT$2 million is also still outstanding, according to the Ministry of Finance, which manages the lottery.
The smallest amount on the five NT$10 million winning uniform invoices, as they are formally called, was for a NT$15 item purchased at a FamilyMart convenience store in Taipei’s Zhongshan District, the ministry said.
Another invoice was issued by a 7-Eleven store in Changhua County’s Shetou Township for a NT$30 transaction, according to the finance ministry.
Meanwhile, the receipt bearing the NT$2 million grand prize was issued for a NT$799 transaction on the online shopping platform Shopee.
The holders of the winning invoices are urged to claim their prizes before the Nov. 7 deadline, the ministry said.
