Hon Hai Achieves Record High Annual Revenue in 2024

Taipei: Taiwan-based manufacturing giant Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. confirmed Sunday that its sales in 2024 were the highest in the company's history and outpaced the 2023 number by double digits.

According to Focus Taiwan, the company, also known as Foxconn globally, reported consolidated sales of nearly NT$6.86 trillion (US$208.2 billion) in 2024. This marks an increase of 11.37 percent from the previous year, setting a new record for the highest full-year figure it has ever posted.

Hon Hai also recorded its second-best sales total for December and the best fourth-quarter results to date. Despite a 2.64-percent month-over-month decline, December's consolidated sales were up by 42.31 percent from the previous year. This increase was attributed to a small shipment of GB200 servers powered by Nvidia's advanced Blackwell graphics processing unit.

The company anticipates beginning mass production of the servers with artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in late January. For the fourth quarter, unaudited consolidated sales reached NT$2.13 trillion, reflecting a 15.03 percent increase from the previous quarter and a 15.17 percent rise from the same period last year, surpassing its growth forecasts made in November.

All four of Hon Hai's product categories - cloud and networking products, components and other products, computing products, and smart consumer electronics - demonstrated year-over-year growth in December and throughout the fourth quarter. Looking ahead to 2025, Hon Hai expects year-over-year sales growth in the first quarter, but it also anticipates a quarter-over-quarter decline due to the robust fourth-quarter performance.
