Hyundai Wia on Friday reported its second-quarter net profit of 45.7 billion won (US$33 million), up 3201.7 percent from a year earlier. Operating income for the April-June period was 69.2 billion won, up 6.2 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Revenue fell 2.3 percent to 2.23 trillion won. The earnings fell behind market expectations.
