Our world never runs short of images and stories that reflect the cruelty and misery that humans are capable of inflicting upon one other. According to the United Nations, 84 million world citizens have been forcibly displaced from their homes and are suffering from the desperation of life as refugees. In Afghanistan a million children under the age of 5 could die of starvation by the end of the year.
