Nong On said that she had been selling somtam for 5 years, but during the Covid period, sales dropped and she couldn't sell, so she stopped for almost a year. She turned to working in a factory to make ends meet, but it was bad because there wasn't much work and overtime was reduced. Finally, she consulted with her mother and opened the somtam shop again. She used the space in front of her house to open a somtam slot shop under this name because she had stopped playing slot games and focused on making money to help her mother ease the burden of paying for the house and sending one younger sibling to school. Since Ban Pak Huai, Nong Naen Subdistrict is a large community, there is no som tam restaurant that uses wild bananas, so we tried using wild bananas to make som tam, which customers love.
