Three Satun girls brought their grandmothers' old clothes from when they were young, including bell-bottom jeans and Muslim Kurungs, which were more than 250 pieces that were kept, to be cut, sewn, and decorated, DIY, and redesigned into new clothes for teenagers, outstanding, modern, unique, and brightly colored. Ms. Theerata said that this idea came from helping her mother clean up the house because termites had eaten it. She found her grandmother's old clothes that were still kept, but they were still brightly colored and had good fabric, cool and comfortable to wear. So she took them and modified them into vintage teenage clothes. So she got together with two friends who were already skilled and experienced in sewing. They used her mother's tailoring shop to transform the clothes. They helped each other come up with ideas. Whoever wanted to wear whichever style would cut it like that. The clothes that were sewn would be sold at Lae Chan Market in Satun Municipality. The income would be used as a scholarship because she studied at the NFE. The rest would be used to buy equipment to decorate the clothes. After selling it, it gained a lot of attention. Many people came to see and ordered. DIY sets start at 299 baht per set. If customers bring clothes to be re-sewn or decorated with details, it starts at 250 baht.
