Netflix's period drama "Uprising," produced by "Decision to Leave" director Park Chan-wook, will be released Oct. 11, the global streaming service said Friday. Starring Gang Dong-won and Park Jeong-min, the action-packed film is set during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) and follows the story of two childhood companions -- one a master (Park) and the other a servant (Gang) -- who reunite as enemies in the midst of war. Directed by Kim Sang-man, the film was co-written by Park, known for "Oldboy" (2003) and "The Handmaiden" (2016), who also served as its producer.
