Oci Holdings Co. on Monday reported its second-quarter net income of 22.8 billion won (US$16.7 million), down 94.1 percent from a year earlier. Operating income for the April-June period was 89.6 billion won, down 32.1 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Revenue rose 59.8 percent to 949.9 billion won. The operating profit was 21.8 percent lower than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
