High jump medal hopeful Woo Sang-hyeok missed the podium at the Paris Olympics on Saturday. Woo failed to clear the bar set at 2.31 meters in three attempts and finished the men's high jump final at 2.27m at Stade de France in Saint-Denis, north of Paris. Five other jumpers, including defending co-gold medalist from Qatar Mutaz Essa Barshim, jumped over 2.31m. Woo, the 2022 world indoor champion, was going for his first Olympic medal after finishing in fourth at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Source: Yonhap News Agency
