Samsung Electronics Co. said Tuesday it has begun distributing the Olympic edition of its latest Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphone to all athletes participating in the upcoming Paris Summer Olympic Games. Nearly 17,000 athletes and Olympic family members for the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games will receive the new foldable smartphone, which was unveiled on July 10 and will officially hit the market on Wednesday. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 features an AI-powered real-time translation service and several official Olympic apps. The quadrennial Summer Olympic Games will kick off this Friday in Paris and run through Aug. 11. Samsung Electronics, the world's leading smartphone maker, has been an Olympic partner since 1998.
