An NT$30 (US$0.95) parking payment in Tainan was the lowest-valued receipt of 16 NT$10 million winners in the July-August uniform invoice lottery, according to the Ministry of Finance.
Four of the 16 special prize-winning receipts, which bear the number 05701942 drawn on Sept. 25, were issued for purchases made at convenience stores, a list released by the ministry on Tuesday showed.
Five were issued by restaurants, including two McDonald’s stores, while the remaining six receipts were issued for telecom and water bills, nursery goods, and other miscellaneous items.
Meanwhile, there were 13 receipts that won the lottery’s NT$2 million grand prize, including three issued by convenience stores, three by gas stations, one for the streaming service Netflix, and two for food — one from McDonald’s, the other from Domino’s Pizza.
The remaining four grand prize-winning receipts were issued for various purchases at locations including a supermarket and a car repair shop, according to the ministry.
