Local governments and a few theme parks around Taiwan have organized New Year's Eve countdown parties, several of which will usher in 2022 with fireworks displays.
Here are some of the events that can be viewed online:
Taipei
The New Year's Eve countdown party and Taipei 101 fireworks display in the capital is held until 1 a.m. Saturday at Taipei City Hall Square.

New Taipei
The city has one of the first firework displays of the evening, which is scheduled to begin at 8:22 p.m and last 13 minutes and 14 seconds.
