The whole event was abuzz! Grade 5 students showed off their singing skills in English at the Student Academic Skills Competition. Mr. Thanachot Yotthasan, Grade 5 student of Ban Non Sawan School, Tambon Pha Sam Yot, Amphoe Erawan, Loei Province, showcased his talent in speaking in a Saraphan melody in English at the opening ceremony of the academic skills competition for students in the academic conference on the development of children and youth in remote areas under the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, 'Culture and Wisdom, the Foundation of National Security' in 2024, Northeastern Region, to select students to compete at the national level. The event featured performances by students from many different schools, but what impressed and captured the attention of attendees was the welcoming speeches by the students. The female student spoke in the local language, Loei, and Nong Thanachot spoke in English in a Saraphan style. Nong Thanachot said that he likes English, as his mother taught him.
