According to Focus Taiwan, the videos quickly went viral, garnering nearly 5,000 comments by Sunday morning, with many urging for the man's punishment. In response, the Taipei Zoo released a statement condemning the individual's actions as "extremely inappropriate and even illegal." The zoo has stated it will monitor the health of the hyenas and collect evidence from public sources and surveillance footage to investigate and address the situation legally. The zoo plans to consult with its legal team to determine if the man's behavior breached laws related to public order or animal protection.
