Taipei:The Taiwan Stock Exchange's main index began Tuesday's trading session with a decrease, dropping 150.71 points to 47,873.89.
According to Focus Taiwan, the initial turnover for the day was NT$13.63 billion, equivalent to approximately US$428.33 million.
