Taiwan Stock Market Opens Higher with Gain in Main Index

Taipei:The Taiwan Stock Exchange's main index saw an increase as it opened up by 34.77 points, reaching 49,857.32 on Wednesday.

According to Focus Taiwan, the turnover for this opening was NT$8.69 billion, equivalent to US$273.14 million.
