Taipei:Taiwan shares concluded trading with a significant gain, rising by 1,236.30 points, or 2.55 percent, to reach 49,712.04.
According to Focus Taiwan, the turnover for the day amounted to NT$1.15 trillion, equivalent to US$36.11 billion.
