A mother asked the police to help find her son who had been missing from home for a week and could not be contacted. He was found dead and tied up in a village pond. The killer claimed that they had a fight over liking the same woman. A team of divers retrieved the body of Mr. Yodrak, aged 53, from a well in Village 4, Don Kha Subdistrict, Tha Tako District, Nakhon Sawan Province, after the deceased's mother had previously asked authorities to help find her son, who had been missing from home since July 18 and suspected that he had been tricked and killed. The location where the body was found was a large agricultural pond owned by the villagers. It was discovered that the perpetrator was none other than a distant relative of the deceased who had a mental illness, Mr. Rung, aged 54. The authorities were able to arrest him at his house, which was only 50 meters away from the pond where th e body was found. The perpetrator stated that he was pressured and could not stand it, so he used a hard object to beat him to death in the house before tying the body to a shopping cart and dumping the body in a pond behind the house. Since killing the deceased and throwing the body in the water, he had been watching over the body because he was afraid of the crime he had committed. From the day of the incident until the day he was arrested, he saw the bloated body floating up twice, so he used a knife to stab him again, hoping that the water in the pond would absorb the deceased's body. He also tied a heavy object to add weight to the deceased's body. The mother of the deceased revealed that her son had been missing since July 18, 2014, and she could not contact him again. She therefore reported the missing person to the police. Until a relative went to see a doctor and came to tell her that her son had been killed in a pond.
