Agriculture and water for consumption depend only on surface water. In the past, there have been drought problems almost every year or what is called 'repeated drought'. When the rainy season comes, there is often no rain. There are few large water storage areas in the area. The streams are small. The connection of streams to the storage areas is shallow and not continuous between the connected sub-districts. Therefore, there is not enough water entering the storage areas to store water throughout the dry season. This is one of the reasons why the community has to face a water shortage. In addition, the quality of the groundwater from the drilling of artesian wells is not suitable for consumption because the water is brackish to salty. It has a level of sulphate, chloride, and total dissolved substances exceeding the groundwater standard. Therefore, it is not suitable for consumption. The District Chief continued that the Kham Thao Subdistrict Administrative Organization has requested a budget for the project to increase efficiency in water management to cope with the drought and intermittent rain in 2022 by creating a proposal for a water treatment system (Water Treatment System) POG size L, which is a large pop tank water system, size L, supporting 121-300 households, with a production capacity of 10 cubic meters/hour, allowing 213 households in Ban Phai to have sufficient quality tap water for consumption. In the past, they have been informed of the problems of the people, especially the problems of tap water, drinking water, and using water. I live in Bangkok and have never had any problems. Therefore, I hope that this will be a good start in distributing tap water to every village so that the people can live happily. He also mentioned the drug problem, saying that the government is giving importance to cracking down , arresting, seizing assets, and treating patients. However, we must not forget that after treatment, we must make sure that patients will not return to drug use. Therefore, we believe that the family, community, public health, monks, district chiefs, village headmen, and sub-district heads must help take special care and attention to eliminate the drug problem because we are conducting a major crackdown nationwide, starting with Roi Et Province. Therefore, by the end of September, Roi Et must be a white province, meaning free from drugs. If successful, it will be expanded to other areas.
