U.S. Dollar Closes Sharply Lower on Taipei Forex Market

Taipei: The U.S. dollar experienced a significant drop against the Taiwan dollar on Monday, falling by NT$0.195 to close at NT$32.510 in Taipei's foreign exchange market. According to Focus Taiwan, the trading session saw a turnover totaling US$2.953 billion. The greenback started the day at its peak of NT$32.660 and fluctuated to a low of NT$32.448 before making a slight recovery by the end of the session.
