Taipei: A woman died on Monday after falling several floors inside the Taipei 101 skyscraper's shopping mall, with the cause of the fall under investigation. Taipei police said they received a report at 10:49 a.m. that a woman had fallen inside the mall. Emergency responders found her with no vital signs and immediately took her to a hospital. According to Focus Taiwan, she was later pronounced dead after resuscitation efforts failed, police said, without disclosing further information about the individual. The police found that the woman apparently fell from the mall's fifth floor for unknown reasons to the second floor, with the incident immediately reported to authorities by security personnel.
