Zhang Hulun’s micro-regular script work “Dream of Red Mansions” Digital Print Unveiling Ceremony and Works Exhibition

The well-known calligrapher Zhang Houlun spent more than two years to complete the micro-regular script work of "Dream of Red Mansions", which was reproduced by Taiwan Zhongyou Company through digital printmaking technology and displayed on the 1st floor of the Zhongyou Building in Taipei. Today (21st) at 2 pm, the unveiling ceremony and exhibition of digital prints of "Dream of Red Mansions" will be held.

Zhang Hulun, the author of the micro-regular script work of "A Dream of Red Mansions", has been learning calligraphy since he was 13 years old. Teacher Zhang spent more than two years writing the classic literary masterpiece "Dream of Red Mansions" in "micro-regular script". The total number of words is as high as 710,000 characters, and the font size is only 0.22 cm, which is amazing.

Taiwan CNPC said that it has collected many calligraphy works of Mr. Zhang in recent years. This time, it has obtained the authorization of Mr. Zhang to reproduce the micro-regular script of Dream of Red Mansions through digital printmaking technology, and display it on the first floor of the CNPC Building, so that more people can appreciate the aesthetics of calligraphy, which is a good economical With the modern technology developed, appreciate the beauty of traditional culture and the charm of written characters.

In addition, Mr. Zhang Houlun provided six calligraphy works in micro-regular script for display, including the Tao Te Ching, the Diamond Prajna Paramita, the Diamond Prajna Paramita (scarlet letter), the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Vows, the Bodhi Path and the Analects of Confucius, etc. These six works The exhibition runs until March 25th.
