Singapore's Ministry of Health said on Wednesday that it would further ease entry restriction on arrivals from low-risk Category I countries and regions, including Taiwan, exempting them from PCR tests upon arrival in the country.
Under the new measure, arrivals from Category I countries and regions, who are not required to undergo quarantine, will have up to 24 hours from their entry into Singapore to take a supervised self-swab rapid test at one of the testing centers located across Singapore, the ministry said.
As long as the test is negative, they are free to move around Singapore.
The new measure will apply to travelers arriving from Feb. 21, 11:59 p.m., according to the ministry.
